Set against the rolling hills of the South Downs, this exclusive experience invites a leisurely stroll through our historic Sussex vineyards alongside a guided tasting, offering breathtaking views while uncovering the craft behind our world-renowned wines. The experience spans two and a half hours and includes the opportunity to purchase Nyetimber wines at cellar door prices, with the ticket price fully redeemable against a case of six bottles purchased on the day. Following the tasting, we are pleased to recommend a selection of charming local pubs and restaurants, perfect for continuing the day in the picturesque English countryside.

Kindly note that we do not accept cash payments, and all purchases must be taken home on the day, as delivery services are unavailable at the Estate.

THE OPEN DAY TOUR

The day begins with a welcome in the White Barn alongside an introduction to the rich history of Nyetimber and the Estate, before setting off on a guided walking tour through our historic vineyards, home to some of the oldest vines in England. Along the way, gain insight into the vines, soil, and conditions that make the South of England a world-class region for sparkling wine.

Returning to the Nyetimber Estate, step inside our 15th-century Medieval Barn for a guided tasting of Nyetimber’s celebrated sparkling wines: Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage, Rosé Multi-Vintage, Cuvee Chérie Multi-Vintage, and our Blanc de Blancs 2017. A true expression of place, this exclusive tasting offers a perfect opportunity to experience the character and provenance of the vineyards

YOUR VISIT

DIRECTIONS

Our nearest train stations are Pulborough and Billingshurst - Taxi’s MUST be booked in advance - please visit our FAQs page for recommended taxi services.

 

If you're travelling by car, please come to Nyetimber Vineyard, Gay Street, West Chiltington, West Sussex, RH20 2HH. (If using SatNav please ignore any instruction onto Lower Jordan's Lane. Continue on Gay Street until you see the Nyetimber sign).

 

PARKING

Parking is free at Nyetimber and only a short walk to the White Barn, where you will begin the tour.

 

MOBILITY

Ahead of your visit, if you or another member of your party has restricted walking ability, please email opendays@nyetimber.com to let us know and we will make arrangements for you to be as comfortable as possible.

 

 

RESTRICTIONS

No dogs are permitted on site, except for assistance dogs notified to Nyetimber in advance of the Open Day.
